All I really want right now is a pretty dreamcatcher. I tried to find one over spring break but they were all cheap with pathetic looking feathers. I did find two purses with long straps and a book on biomedical ethics at a thrift store! I also bought a cute green pair of knock off Ray Bans at the boardwalk.
I went to a Glassjaw concert at Ramshead in Baltimore last night with my boyfriend and friend Sean. It was so awesome! I honestly hadn’t listened to too much of their music prior to attending their concert but I’m really glad I went. The atmosphere was great and it was all really neat. They handed out a free EP at the end which was really cool. Light shows at concerts like that always get me.
I bought some Diet Cherry Juice drink from 711 on the way back. I need to stop trying diet juices, they never taste good.
I cannot wait to fall asleep tonight. I’m so exhausted from our trip to Myrtle Beach. The ride back was much quicker. My friend Taylor and I bought a large pizza from Little Caesar’s for FIVE DOLLARS! My mind was blown. I wish we had Little Caesar’s in Maryland. We went to Senor Frogs both Thursday and Friday night and had a blast. I definitely want to go back there sometime. A band was playing the second night out on the deck and they were so good! I tipped them and the lady in the bathroom that hands you stuff. (She was a nice lady!) We checked out a bar called Might As Well but only ended up staying for ten minutes. They marked our hands with permanent markers and drew frownie faces because we aren’t old enough to drink. The stupid faces still won’t come off!
We ate at Planet Hollywood on Friday and it was delicious. Pasta is always a safe bet for a vegetarian. A father said something amusing about Charlie Sheen to his son. The cameraman kept zooming in on this little girl and it was weird. The restaurant just looks so awesome from the outside. We almost got in a car accident on the way there but I’m definitely glad we didn’t. I wish Michelle wasn’t transferring so we could go back and visit Myrtle Beach again.
I’m in South Carolina! The trip took about nine hours including stops. Becky, Taylor and I ended up getting lost at the very end of the trip and were driving around on dirt roads searching for a college campus. The address that was in the GPS was completely wrong. We noticed something was up when we were “passing the campus” but really were just passing an empty field. The dirt roads were awesome though and we passed some really cool stuff. This trip kind of makes me miss living in the south. I don’t care what people say, the people in the north and south really are different.
It’s so warm here. I was walking around after six in just a skirt, a tank, and a pair of sandals. I didn’t even have to get my cardigan out of the car. There are so many trees covered in lilacs around here. I remembered the name of the state tree! Palmetto tree. It does kind of look like a palm tree, though. I barely slept last night and I’m really tired but I keep putting off going to bed. I think I’ll go do that now.
